Frog Headband Craft

Gather Supplies:
- Two 8.5"x11" pieces of green construction paper
- One piece of white paper
- One piece of black construction paper (or black markers)
- Markers
- Scissors
- Stapler, tape and/or glue
Make Headband Strips:
- Fold a piece of green construction paper in half and then in half again to make three long creases.
- Unfold paper and cut four long strips along the fold lines. Each child will need two to three strips.
Make Frog Heads:
- Fold a piece of green construction paper in half to make one short crease.
- Cut out a semi circle to make two frog heads.
Make Frog Eyes:
- Fold a piece of green construction paper in half to make one short crease.
- Cut out two circles to make four frog heads.
Make Frog Eyeballs and Pupils
- Fold white and black paper in half.
- Cut out two circles from the white paper for the frogs' eyeballs.
- Cut out two circles from the black paper for the frogs' pupils. Or draw pupils on with black marker.
- Attach pupils to eyeballs and eyeballs to eyes with glue or tape.
Complete Frog Headbands
- Staple or tape the frog face to the middle of a headband strip.
- Staple or tape a second strip to the end of the first strip.
- Staple or tape or glue eyes to frog heads.
- Measure the headband on each child’s head, and tape or staple into a circle.
- Wear and leap everywhere like a hoppy frog.
